Current Favourites

Hey everyone!

Today I thought I would show you some of my current beauty favourites that I’ve found myself using a lot recently! –

First, it’s my Natural Collection mascara that I’ve been using for a while now and absolutely love it. It’s so simple and natural looking which is everything I need. Plus, it’s so affordable I really wouldn’t change it for anything else.natural collection mascara

Second, it’s the NYX Wonder Stick. It’s the perfect tool for contouring in a quick and easy way!KIKO

Then, it’s my Oriflame fluffy eye shadow brush which I have found to be the best help when it comes to creating my favourite eye shadow looksoriflame brush

My all time favourite MaxFactor Whipped Cream foundation (in light ivory) that is so smooth, gentle, easy to apply and matches my complexion perfectly!whipped creme foundation

I simply love Natural Collection make up, it’s my go-to whenever I need something new and affordable. This fragnance-free eyeshadow in the shade Asteroid is super pigmented and never creases on the eye-lid making it one of my best buys! eye shadow

I’m a huge nail varnish lover and I can never leave the store without getting a new shade for my collection! This beautiful MaxFactor Glossfinity varnish really does hold for nearly a week and the shade is amazing for the fall season.Glossfinity nails

No one likes the look of a smudged nail varnish, even more, everyone hates waiting around for it to dry! The solution? Catrice Ultra Stay and Gel Shine top coat. It makes ANY nail varnish dry in a minute and coats it with an extra shiny top coat! top coat nails

There you go – my absolute favourites that have never disappointed me!

Classic + Casual

Hey guys!

Today I wanted to share with you the double C look – Classic and Casual – which means you can look quite classy but feel comfortable at the same time (wait, that’s quadruple C’s… ) haha

I wore my River Island high waist leggings with a white cotton shirt, also from RI, and a black fine-knit jumper from hm. On top I threw on my favourite olive trench coat and matched it with my vintage clutch!

My trainers are my most recent buy from Zara and I must say – I couldn’t be happier to have these shoes. I had been looking for a nice pair of trainers that would suit my style but wouldn’t cost a ridiculous amount, and here they are!

All the accessories are from hm

Best Foundation for Fair Skin

Hey guys!

Today I wanted to share with you my absolute favourite foundations that suit me and my fair skin without making me look yellow and caky (which often is a huge problem with other brands!)

foundation collection text1

It’s always important to create a good foundation base no matter if you’re going for that el natural look with just a light foundation and mascara, or even if you’re going all out on a smokey eye and red lip. The base makes such a big difference, don’t you agree? So here I am sharing a few of my trustworthy foundations that I’ve used for quite a while and know they work for me! And no matter what shade you are, I’m sure these brands can offer you something that suits you and your skin tone:

  1. Only recently I started applying primer. I wasn’t really buying the idea at all but thought I would give it a try and see if it’s really worth the fuss. Now that I’ve had it for a few weeks I can really tell you guys – if you don’t have a primer yet, go and get one! It does help the make-up stay on for most of the day and not crease. I’m using this Loreal Paris Infallible Mattifying base which smoothens your skin making it nice and matt, ready to apply foundation and forget about that shiny forehead. I am super happy I got it.
  2. For those lazy, good-skin or lovely summer days I prefer using a light, moisturising foundation like The Body Shop All-In-One BB Cream. I actually got it as a present first in the shade 03 which was a little bit too dark for my skin tone (I’m quite fussy about it) but I just loved the texture and the lightness the BB cream had so I just HAD to go to the store and get it in a shade that suits me better. It really is a great product – quick to use, light on the skin, moisturising and so small you can pop it in your bag and have it with you at all times.
  3. Now I can’t really express my love for the MaxFactor Whipped Creme foundation. I first bought it a few years ago when it had just come out and I was curious to see if I liked it..and yes, I really did! The shade light ivory is just the perfect match for me, I don’t think I can name any other foundation that matches my skin tone so perfectly. And the creamy texture helps the foundation get into every little crevasse of your skin, and it’s also mattifying! Perfect!!
  4. The Sleek Bare skin Natural Feel Liquid foundation is my favourite because it really is all that it says on the bottle – It’s lightweight, moisturising and easy to apply, and you don’t even feel it on your skin once applied. I do really suggest it if you don’t really want to use a BB cream as it is a little bit thicker, but don’t neccessarely want to go for the creamy foundation!
  5. Just like the Whipped Creme, this Maybelline FITme foundation has been in my make-up collection for quite a few years now. It matched my skin tone perfectly, is super lightweight and easy to apply. I don’t think I will ever forget to buy it once the bottle is finished, give it a try guys!

So this is my ‘little’ foundation collection that I trust and have my love for. It is a little hard to get the right foundation if you’re like me and you’re skin is pale – I always get so disappointed when the lightest shade is too yellow, too red or is still too dark for my complexion!! But in all honesty, I wouldn’t really want to change any of these or even try any new foundations, I’ve found mine already.

Hope you enjoyed it, see you next time

Ruddy Sunday

Hello again!

I’ve spent a lovely lovely day roaming around the streets of London once again enjoying the golden sunshine. Fall really is gorgeous (if it’s not dull and rainy, of course haha)! I woke up feeling happy and pumped to go for a walk – just to simply enjoy myself. I made sure I wrap up warm and in this post I am going to share my Sunday look with you guys:

I’ll be honest with you, I really couldn’t decide what to wear!!..but it’s in my nature to think I’ve got a clear idea of what I’ll be wearing and then change my mind again and again 10 minutes before leaving the house (please tell me it’s not just me!). Finally I threw on something that I know looks good on me and makes me feel comfortable – after all it is just a little walk on a Sunday afternoon.

I picked out one of my absolute favourites – a long sleeved A-line dress from hm jersey section. It’s just so comfy and trendy!! What I love about this dress are the pockets, I fall involve with anything that has pockets and believe it’s a great addition to any look.

I didn’t want to go all black so I paired the black jersey dress with some casual light brown leggings from Forever21, and threw on my new coat also from hm.

For my accessories, I chose this two piece golden chain necklace, and a delicate simplistic golden bracelet that I love love love!!

My boots are from Primark. I walked in the store without any intentions of buying anything, but once I saw these 70s lace-up booties in suede, I knew I had to have them – and here I am! They are simply gorgeous and inexpensive making that decision of “should I buy it or not” so much easier to justify.

As for my bag, it’s an hm faux leather bag with some tassels from NewLook that I attached myself. I love this bag – it’s so classy and spacious.

I hope you enjoyed it, I’ll see you again next time!

a few days ago I turned 22 ! I really can’t believe it as I still feel like a kid most of the time.. The past years have gone so quick but hey – time flies when you’re having most fun, right?!

I actually had to work for a few hours on the day (which was super busy and stressful) but in the end it turned out to be fun and the birthday messages, hugs and cute little presents gave me that extra energy needed!
Later on me and a few friends and family members went for a quiet dinner as I’m really not into partying all night long. I prefer conversating with the people I love and want to have around my birthday celebrations.

Because of that reason, I didn’t want to wear a fancy dress with sparkles everywhere, so I wore something I love at the moment, that is a bit unusual and makes me feel comfortable (the last thing you want is to worry about your outfit when all you really want to do is just enjoy yourself).

So here we go:

I wore this olive colour jumper-dress that is so easy to dress up or down. During the day I paired it with my vintage black leather belt and a bag I’ve also had for a very long time (If I remember correctly I brought it back from Spain a few years ago, and I LOVE IT).  The colours are so me and every fall season I find myself going back to the greens, oranges, browns and blacks which makes this the perfect piece to go with anything!

For the evening I simply added a bit more jewellery (that were actually given to me as a present during the day!!) and changed my bag to a vintage clutch.

I’m always the tallest amongst my friends so I rarely wear heels – it makes me feel like that one odd one standing out from the crowd (especially when I need to lean down just to hear what my friends are saying haha). I’m glad my shoe collection had something a bit more exciting than black boots for me!

I wore my jam coloured oxfords from NewLook that have always been one of my favourite pairs. They’re just simply cute and suit my style!

The night was full of laughter and fun! We went to a Mexican restaurant in Notting Hill as we knew the food and atmosphere there was great. I was also hoping for some sombrero action WHICH WE ACTUALLY GOT!!! The staff made us feel super good and treated all of us with a few birthday shots on the house.

And thanks to Hummingbird bakery my red velvet birthday cake was not only beautiful but tasted like heaven!!!  I highly suggest getting your cake from their bakery – they know what they’re doing 😉

Thanks guys for visiting my blog! Any suggestions, questions or enquiries are always welcome and much appreciated!

London In Colour

Hello mid-October!

I have just recovered from a bad cold and thought I would go for a little wonder around my favourite part of London. The fresh air, sunshine, Autumn colours and the beautiful streets of London did not dissapoint at all. It was great to be able to enjoy a lovely walk after a week spent indoors!

Fall season is my most favourite season of the year as I get to wear all sorts of jumpers, cardigans, coats and jackets – layers over layers of pure comfort and soft knit.

For this look I picked out my oversize green jumper from hm, the colour makes me instantly smile as I remind myself of a little salad leaf! On top I’m wearing my spring-autumn go-to trench coat that I love because of its length and superb colour.
This is actually the first time I felt brave enough to wear my new faux leather trousers! (let me know if it works guys, I’m still questioning if this style suits me or not).

I’m not really a huge accessory lover but I do love to have a little golden chain around my neck, I feel like it gives the look a great finish! For my every day accessories I go to Primark.
What I really love to invest in are a pair of great quality boots for the cold season. Leather foot wear means it will protect your feet from pretty much anything – they’ll keep you warm in the cold, and cool your feet down if it’s too hot. Leather boots are also breathable and waterproof. Ticks all my boxes!!
I’m wearing knee-length clarks boots.
My bag is a gift I received last year and it’s a beautiful little red-herring bucket bag.

I hope you enjoyed this little journey I shared with you guys! Have a lovely week and wrap up warm!!
